Jenn Chiarelli is an E-RYT 500 and has over 10,000 hours of yoga teaching and training experience. She is the creator and founder of Anahata Soul and its 200 hour Yoga Teacher Program in Costa Rica. Jenn has recently taught at Wanderlust and Yoga Journal Live! conferences. She teaches yoga and meditation workshops, teacher trainings, classes and retreats nationally and internationally.
Jenn has a deep spiritual practice rooted in Kundalini Meditation and always has gratitude for her teacher, Swami Khecaranatha for his guidance along her journey. As a Master teacher, Jenn encourages her students to explore their own internal rhythms, their own personal practice through the postures, breath, meditation, music, and a wide open heart.
Jenn's journey began through the art of dance. She attained her
dream of becoming a professional ballerina when she joined the Cleveland San Jose Ballet as one of its youngest members. During her 11 year career with the company, Jenn danced various soloist and principal roles in works by renowned choreographers including George Balanchine, Martha Graham, Donald McKayle, and Dennis Nahat. She received critical acclaim for her role as the Pioneer Woman in Martha Graham’s Appalachian Spring.
Anahata is the 4th chakra or vortex of energy. Anahata means "unstruck" in sanskrit and is known as the heart chakra. It is the gateway between the lower three chakras and the upper three chakras. Only through unconditional love and compassion can we truly grow and evolve.
